What You'll Do- Process purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory products and services
- Request and negotiate vendor quotes
- Evaluate pricing and purchasing needs
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and data
- Process price changes and assign product/part codes
- Coordinate freight carriers and delivery schedules
- Process and resolve receiving discrepancies
- Manage credits and product returns
Monitor inventory levels - Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met
- 5 years of administrative or office experience, or comparable experience
- Purchasing, inventory, or vendor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization and time management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Accurate data entry and recordkeeping
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective vendor and team relationships
