Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor is a results‑driven leadership role responsible for leading daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Drive shift performance, maintain equipment uptime, and ensure adherence to standard work and quality expectations.
- Lead a team of hourly employees within the Scroll Machining department to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.
- Execute daily production plans to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Monitor machining processes, equipment uptime, and production flow; address bottlenecks, downtime, and inefficiencies.
- Partner with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Train and develop team members on standard work, safety, and quality expectations.
- Enforce safety standards and promote accountability across the shift.
- Lead shift start‑up meetings to align on production goals and performance updates.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output and downtime tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures and address non‑conformances.
- Support Lean Daily Management, including Tier meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
- Promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment through strong leadership and communication.
Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Additional production hours may be scheduled on Fridays based on business needs during peak periods. This role is based fully onsite and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
Required Education, Experience & Skills- Five (5+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and meet production targets.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, including maintenance, engineering, and quality.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to operate effectively on night shift with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with manufacturing systems (e.g., timekeeping, reporting tools).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Associate’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in machining or a technical production setting.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
