Quality Supervisor – RMA Lab
Based out of our Natchitoches, LA location, you will provide leadership to the Return Material Auditor lab and document control areas, manage supplier quality process and key performance indicators, maintain an effective QMS based on ISO , collaborate with the facility to enhance and improve the plant’s product and services through QMS optimization, and support assembly quality and manufacturing processes while maintaining daily quality audit records.
Responsibilities- Establish and implement quality procedures, specifications and testing standards for raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure shipping worldwide conformity with required standards.
- Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the quality assurance staff.
- Track and report all aspects of the cost of quality while driving improvement programs to reduce scrap, rework and increase shop floor yield rates.
- Oversee and maintain all requirements of the ISO standard.
- Assure QMS compliance by developing and maintaining an internal audit schedule, documenting non-conformances, and maintaining corrective and preventive actions system (through ETQ) and other necessary actions required by the ISO standard.
- Facilitate and coordinate all internal and third‑party (ISO, UL, Customer) audits.
- Monitor assembly quality processes and maintain quality audit records.
- Report on supplier quality, KPI QMS compliance and corrective actions.
- Support assembly manufacturing operation.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or related engineering.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Legal work authorization in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Lean Basic Training
- Project Management Experience
- CMM Knowledge
