Lynch Marini & Associates Inc is a leading provider of accounting, auditing, tax and business services to municipal entities, non-profit organizations, small to medium sized businesses and to high net worth individuals throughout Southern New England.
ManagerResponsibilities and qualifications:
- Proven ability to supervise and review other firm members’ work.
- Preparation for final review by partner signature of individual, corporate, S‑Corp, not‑for‑profit, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Working knowledge of industry standards (i.e., AICPA, FASB, GASB).
- Planning and completion of audit, review, and compilation of municipalities, corporations, and non‑profits.
- Preparation of financial statements under GAAP or other basis of accounting for final signature of Partner.
- Firm understanding of audit procedures, documentation, and presentation of work papers.
- Mentoring and training staff personnel on efficient audit techniques, accounting and tax knowledge.
- Developing, monitoring, and summarizing time budgets.
- Working with the assigned Partner, responsible for client retention.
- Timely delivery of Firm products to partner for review.
- Timely (within 24 hours) response to or acknowledgement of client requests.
- Licensed to practice as a CPA in the Commonwealth of MA.
- Compliance with personnel policy manual.
- Note:
There is a direct route to Partnership from Manager.
Responsibilities and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Working knowledge of industry standards (i.e., AICPA, FASB, GASB).
- Experience in the performance of attestation engagements.
- Experience in financial reporting and auditing in accordance with Government Accounting Standards, Government Auditing Standards and OMB (a plus).
- Working knowledge of various software programs (i.e., Pro Systems fxTax, Pro Systems fx Engagement, Quick Books).
- Preparation of tax returns (Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Non‑Profit, Estate Trust and S‑Corp).
- Experience in supervision and training of staff.
- Responsible for ongoing communication with Managers and Partners regarding job planning, performance, client retention.
- Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with appropriate standards.
Responsibilities and qualifications:

- Firm understanding of basic accounting.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Working knowledge of audit procedures, documentation and financial reporting standards (FASB, GASB), a plus.
- Working knowledge of the software programs of Pro Systems fxTax, Pro Systems fx Engagement, Quick Books (a plus).
- Preparation of tax returns (Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Non‑Profit, Estate Trust and S‑Corp).
- Perform procedures related to attestation engagements (Audit, Review, Compilation, Agreed‑Upon Procedures) of Corporations, Municipal and Non‑Profit entities.
- Document, evaluate and perform tests of internal controls.
- Preparation of financial statements under GAAP or other comprehensive basis of accounting.
Responsibilities and qualifications:
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- The ability to work both independently as a part of a group.
- Detailed oriented.
- Reliable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Quick Books, Pro Systems fx Engagement, Pro Systems fx Tax (a plus).
- Assist in the maintenance of accounting records of various clients.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, non‑profit).
- Assist in the performance of procedures related to attestation engagements (Audit, Review, Compilation, and Agreed‑Upon Procedures) of corporate, municipal and non‑profit entities.
