Adaptive Counselor
Looking for qualified candidates to work at our BOH certified summer camp. Camp Arrowhead is our camp for individuals with special needs ages 6 and up. Camp staff typically work 8:00 AM-4:30 PM daily mentoring volunteers, overseeing the safety of campers, and creating fun adaptable programming for participants. The staff is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding participants in their personal growth.
Requirements- Must be able to work independently and in small groups of staff to provide a variety of activities on a daily basis.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to interact with all participants of many ages and abilities.
- Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification.
- This position is a seasonal position as defined by the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance.
- Interested candidates should submit their application & resume to recreation.
Starting: $16.75- $17.17 hr
