Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Locums in Massachusetts
Practice Setting
- Inpatient setting
- Work in an Acute psychiatric unit/institute with 22 beds
- See an average of 6-10 patients per shift
- No required supervision of Advance Practice Providers or Residents/Teaching
Schedule
- Coverage is for Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (Days, 8:00 AM start time)
- No Admissions Required
Procedures and Cases
- Required Clinical Areas include Anxiety, Affective, ADD/ADHD, Personality, Eating, Development, Psychotic, and Organic disorders
- Treatment techniques include Pharmacotherapy, Group therapy, Family therapy, and ECT
- Familiarity With Involuntary commitments, Seclusion therapy, and Restraint application
Requirements
- Physician Board Certified in Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- MUST be Child and Adolescent Certified
- Active MA License is required to bid on this locums role
- Required Certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS
Credentialing Requirements
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe is 60 days
