Job DescriptionThe Tobin Children’s School is seeking a Preschool Teacher for one of our two full-day, full-year Preschool classrooms. This teacher will work collaboratively with two other full-time teachers and an afternoon assistant to support up to 9 children per day in a classroom operating from 7:15 to 5:45. The role involves parent communication, child supervision, curriculum planning, child assessment, and ensuring adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols, EEC licensing regulations, and NAEYC Accreditation Criteria.
Full-time positions are 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts and a paid ½ hour break. Flexible shift scheduling is required (7:15–3:30, 8:00–4:00, or 9:45–5:45).
The Tobin Children’s School is an NAEYC-accredited program offering full-year, full-day programs for infants through PreK on a large Natick campus. We provide diverse experiences that encourage children to explore themselves, their peers, and their environment through small and large group activities, quiet times, active play, and indoor and outdoor exploration.
Our developmentally appropriate curriculum supports creativity and teacher input.
We have nine stand-alone classrooms including two infant rooms, three toddler rooms, two Preschool rooms, and two PreK rooms. Additional facilities include playgrounds for all ages, a turf field, garden spaces, sandboxes, a mud kitchen, a loose parts area, and an indoor gross‑motor room.
RequirementsSuccessful applicants must hold an EEC Preschool Teacher certification and possess early childhood teaching experience. A degree in early childhood or a related field is highly valued. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as is the ability to plan creative, engaging curriculum. Knowledge of a second language is a plus.

Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience. Pay range: $21.00–$24.00 per hour.
