Assistant Director (Summer Playground Programming)
Looking for candidates to lead our non-certified summer playground programming. Responsible for assisting in all programming and logistical areas summer playground programs, working with the staff to engage participants in unique and adventurous activities on a daily basis and coordinating with the Program Manager to provide a fun and safe place for children to play.
REXpedition Playground is a summer program for children entering grades 1–5 that offers a structured yet flexible environment where campers can choose from a wide range of daily activities. From themed projects and creative arts to sports, games, and free play. Each day is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.
Requirements- Must be able to work independently and in small groups of staff to provide a variety of activities on a daily basis.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to interact with all participants of many ages and abilities.
The hiring range is $20.25–$21.81 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full‑time, seasonal, non-benefit position supporting operations.
