Job Description

Full‑Time PreK Teacher desired to join one of two full‑day, full‑year PreK classrooms. The teacher will work collaboratively with two other full‑time teachers and an afternoon assistant to support up to 18 children per day. Classroom hours are 7:15 am to 5:45 pm. Responsibilities include parent communication, child supervision, curriculum planning, child assessment, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, EEC licensing regulations, and NAEYC accreditation criteria.

The position is a 40‑hour full‑time role with 8‑hour shifts and a paid ½‑hour break. Flexibility to work one of the following schedules is required: 7:15‑3:30, 8:00‑4:00, or 9:45‑5:45.

• EEC Preschool Teacher certification.
• Experience teaching early childhood, preferably PreK.
• Degree in early childhood or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan creative, engaging curriculum.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
