Job DescriptionJob Title: Before & After School Program Site Supervisor
Job Goal: Responsible for the daily operation of one before school (Early Risers) and after school (ASAP) site, a creative, community service-oriented environment. Duties include orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation of program personnel; overall program design; communication with families and school personnel; and enforcement of policies and procedures regarding safety and quality.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Five years or more of experience working with youth in an organized setting and 1 year of administrative and supervisory experience or at least six credits in management, administration, or staff supervision.
- Ability to lead large groups, communicate effectively with families and school personnel, supervise staff, and respond proactively to a variety of challenges.

- Maintain a current enrollment list and daily attendance sheets. Modify as necessary when given enrollment changes by director or attendance changes from families.
- Confirm arrival of all students each day; initiate Missing Child Procedure if a child does not arrive; and ensure that all children are signed out by an authorized parent/guardian at pick‑up.
- Ensure that all children are checked in at the start of the program and signed out by an authorized parent/guardian at pick‑up.
- Ensure that appropriate staff know the whereabouts of all children in assigned groups at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of students who have epi‑pens, food allergies, or other health concerns and implement all health care/emergency procedures. Maintain accurate and complete records of student injuries and incidents.
- Train staff in response to emergencies; administer and log evacuation drills. Lead response in the event of an emergency.
- Alert appropriate staff members when unusual family or personal circumstances may affect student behavior or safety.
- Assemble supply orders, make monthly shopping trips, maintain supply inventory, and keep site materials neat and in accordance with the expectations of the school principal.
- Oversee program staff, help them develop skills in strengths‑based behavior management, curriculum planning, and support consistent expectations for all students. Lead weekly or bi‑weekly staff meetings, mediate staff conflicts, and provide extra support for serious disciplinary infractions.
- Oversee completion of and submit timesheets and evaluate and respond to staff time off requests.
- Complete 2 to 3 staff evaluations per year per staff (30‑day for new staff, mid‑year and final for everyone). Meet with staff individually regarding evaluation.
- Enforce procedures by documenting and meeting with staff who do not comply with NPS or ASAP policies.
