Job DescriptionJob Goal: Provide health instruction for students in grades 5-8. Curriculum, materials and private teaching space are provided.
Qualifications- Education:
High School diploma or GED - Professional Certification (preferred):
Massachusetts DESE certification in Middle School Health, SEI Endorsement - Specialized Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice; ability to provide structured language learning experiences; adept at using SEI strategies; ability to evaluate and refine instructional strategies; maintain professional competence; collaborate in PLC and committees; other duties as assigned. - Preferred Experience:
Experience with Google Suite and Power School; bilingual skills highly desirable.

Physical Requirements
- Move about classroom, school, etc.

- Maintain files and access school/classroom/office materials.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff via person, video, phone, writing.
- Observe details at close range, ensure safety of students.
- Multitask and meet multiple demands.
- Help teach life skills: eating, cleaning, toileting.
- Lifting up to 25 lbs.
