Your mission:

The SALMON Center for Early Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will partner with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, and thrive. If you are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and families, we encourage you to apply.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily classroom activities.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for toddlers.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
  • Observe children s progress and communicate concerns with the Lead Teacher.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
  • Assume responsibility for the classroom when the Lead Teacher is absent.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and intergenerational activities.

What you’ll bring:

  • Massachusetts EEC Professional Teacher Certification is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, dependable, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
