OpportunityWe are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer/Scientist/Computer Scientist for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Natick, MA. In this role you will work as part of several teams to develop software, data, and engineering solutions for a diverse range of challenges faced by clients ranging from early‑stage startups through to Fortune 100 companies.
You will combine scientific and engineering principles, data driven techniques and investigative analysis with subject‑specific expertise to implement high‑value solutions to complex technical problems and will interact with managers, engineers, legal staff and business leaders.
We expect you to demonstrate continuous professional growth in both technical and business skills essential for consulting services.
Responsibilities- Performing engineering and computer science analyses related to ongoing work.
- Using deep expertise in physics, electrical engineering, or related field to develop solutions to challenging technical problems.
- Designing and performing tests and numerical analysis, modeling, and simulation to support engineering goals.
- Performing reliability and failure analysis of electrical/electronic systems and components, and computer systems and associated networks.
- Presenting technical results to diverse audiences through verbal, written, and interactive communication.
- Preparing technical proposals, pursuing business developments, and expanding related services.
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics or related field.
- Understanding of investigative analysis for troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience with finite element analysis, numerical analysis, modeling, and/or simulation of devices, systems, and networks.
- Experience with at least one common programming language:
Python, C/C++, Java, MATLAB, or similar. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to engineering, business, and related industry stakeholders.
- Desire to learn and work with a wide array of programming languages, software frameworks, and tools.
- Ability to support multiple group projects and market the practice and its consulting services.
- Currently legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship required.
