We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Natick, MA. In this role, you will work as part of a team to combine scientific and engineering principles, data‑driven techniques, and current experimental methods with robust subject‑specific expertise to implement high‑value solutions to complex technical problems.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical engineering analysis related to ongoing consulting work in fields including power systems, power electronics, renewable energy, battery systems, residential, commercial, and industrial equipment, control systems, consumer products, and electrical safety.
- Leverage problem‑solving skills and deep expertise to solve difficult technical challenges such as determining why a system failed, how equipment can be made safer, and how products can perform better.
- Design and execute testing and analysis programs in laboratory and field settings.
- Communicate technical information to diverse audiences, author technical reports and proposals, and present technical information and guidance to clients.
- Electronic circuits including analog and/or digital systems
- Power electronics and/or power systems

- Industrial process control
- Root cause/failure analysis
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Power and Energy Engineering, Physics, or another related discipline.
- Hands‑on experience with electrical systems and equipment, power and energy systems, electronic hardware, and/or software development.
- Experience designing, constructing, and performing testing programs in a laboratory setting and using electrical test and development equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and soldering equipment.
- Competence with at least one common scientific programming language such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams, and support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze information and convey technical conclusions to diverse audiences.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with simulation or design software such as MATLAB/Simulink, COMSOL, PCB design, and SPICE circuit simulation environments.
Base salary range: $132,000 – $154,000 per year.
