Aerospace Electrical Test Technician – Avionics & Electronics Technician

Temporary-to-Hire Position

Pay: $35–$40/hour |

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Are you an experienced electronics professional with a passion for precision testing, troubleshooting, and aerospace technology? Join a team where your electrical expertise helps ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of advanced aerospace systems.

We are seeking an Aerospace Electrical Test Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of complex electrical systems, avionics components, wiring harnesses, and electronic equipment. This role supports engineering teams by executing detailed test procedures and ensuring all systems meet strict aerospace quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, operational, and stress testing using Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits, wiring issues, and component-level failures using diagnostic equipment.
  • Operate test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Document test results and maintain accurate records in compliance with aerospace quality standards.
  • Build wire harnesses, fabricate test fixtures, and set up data acquisition systems.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, and technical documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, or avionics systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of aerospace or military electronics environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with soldering standards (IPC-J-STD-001) and ESD prevention practices preferred.
