Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Natick, Massachusetts on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in managing financial operations, maintaining accuracy in accounting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting systems and practices.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate completion.

- Supervise and streamline the processing of accounting transactions.

- Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to optimize financial workflows.

- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions effectively.

- Conduct internal audits regularly and coordinate full-scope audits with external partners.

- Collaborate with global banking partners to manage factoring and maintain relationships.

- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.

- Partner with operations teams to address billing-related matters and ensure alignment.

- Manage global tax processes by coordinating with external tax partners.

- Leverage Net Suite to support various accounting and reporting functions.

Requirements - Proven experience in managing month-end close processes with efficiency and accuracy.

- Expertise in accounting software systems and CRM tools.

- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions, including AP and AR management.

- Demonstrated success in conducting audits and ensuring compliance.

- Strong familiarity with budget preparation and implementation processes.

- Proficiency in generating and analyzing cash flow forecasts.

- Knowledge and practical experience with Net Suite software.

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain effective communication.
