FINANCE COORDINATOR (Position Reposted)

The Town of Natick is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support all functions of the Finance Department and report to the Comptroller.

• Assist accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Reconcile and audit vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and update payroll deductions for health, life, and dental benefits.
• Document Finance Department procedures and internal processes.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Comptroller and Director of Finance.
• Post and reconcile receipts for the Collector’s Office.
• Monitor municipal budgets and prepare financial reports for Town departments.
• Enter and process bi‑weekly payroll for Comptroller departments.
• Support Town payroll operations as needed.
• Assist with annual Town audits by gathering data and preparing required reports.
• Provide accounts payable support and perform additional financial duties as required.
• Contribute to departmental special projects and process improvements.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions.
• Familiarity with MUNIS and payroll systems preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required.

Salary range: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year. This is a full‑time, benefited position (37.5 hours per week).
