Psychiatric Hospitalist - No Call / No Weekends

If you re ready for a fulfilling inpatient psychiatry role with balance and stability, we have the position you are looking for.
Responsibilities- Provide 100% inpatient psychiatry care with no outpatient responsibilities
- Rounding on inpatients and responding to psychiatric consult requests on medical/surgical units
- Collaborate with experienced Psychiatric PAs, Chair of Psychiatry, and hospital-based psychiatry physicians
- Work in a collaborative, supportive environment
- Optional academic role — teach NP/PA students during rotations at SVH
- No call, no nights, no weekends — 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABIM)
- Clear credentialing history and consistent, comparable work experience
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Leonard Morse Hospital provides mental health care for children, adolescents, adults and seniors, with some outpatient services.
- Expertise in behavioral health for children, adults and seniors, including inpatient & outpatient services
- Outpatient laboratory services
- Sleep Center and Sleep Disorder Lab
- A full continuum of care for children, adolescents, adults and seniors
- A partial hospital program to help patients transition from inpatient to outpatient care
- 24-hour access to emergency mental evaluation and substance abuse care
Comprehensive Behavioral Health Services
Our team provides inpatient and outpatient care for children, adolescents, adults and seniors with flexible, patient-centered and culturally sensitive approaches.
- Evaluation and Referral — 24-hour emergency mental evaluation and substance-abuse care
- Child Development Unit — 17-bed inpatient unit for ages 3 to 17
- Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit — 86-bed unit at Metro West Leonard Morse Campus; 12-bed unit at Saint Vincent Hospital for ages 16+
- Geriatric Neuropsychiatric Treatment — 24-bed inpatient unit
- Partial Hospital Program — daytime program with treatment and aftercare planning
- Intensive Outpatient Program — schedule varies (Mon, Tue, Thu 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
- Outpatient Support Group — Psychotherapy Support Group (Wednesday 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
