Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex screening and diagnostic radiographs, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients. Is multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Preferred: Associate degree

Certifications

Required: ARRT (R, M), state license if required

Required: ARRT ( R), state license if required. Must obtain Mammography credential, ARRT(M), within 1 year of hire or placement in role.
