Part-Time Custodians; Evenings

Overview

The Town of Natick Facilities Department currently has immediate openings for Part-Time Custodians (Evenings – up to 19 hours/week). We are seeking outstanding candidates who are hard-working, ambitious, and committed to working in a team environment.

• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, washing, waxing, carpet cleaning, dusting, polishing, and window cleaning
• Trash removal and recycling as assigned
• Snow removal (on- and off-shift, as needed)
• Assisting with regular and periodic maintenance
• Event set-up and break-down
• Performing other cleaning tasks as assigned
• Tactfully interacting with all building occupants
• Additional responsibilities as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work evenings (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM)
• Manual dexterity
• Demonstrated initiative in recognizing and completing needed tasks
• Successful completion of CORI/SORI background check, fingerprinting, and pre-employment physical including drug test

$22.6709/hour (Step
1). The full pay scale ranges from $22.6709 - $27.7449 per hour, with step increases outlined in the union agreement.
