Duties
Plan weekly and monthly work schedule and sequence of operations for subordinates.
Establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedule and methods and policies established by higher levels of supervision.
Select workers and assigns tasks to be performed. Explains work requirement, methods, and procedures; instructs subordinates in new procedures; and provides advice when problems arise.
Determine equipment, supplies, and maintenance required.
Review job descriptions for currency and accuracy and makes necessary changes; reports detailing of employees to jobs other than their own.
Direct work activities of seasonal, special project, and special employment program employees to complete workloads that due to the size and complexity of the activity serviced.
