Board Certification
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) (Required)
- Active Massachusetts NP License (Required)
- Must meet Massachusetts requirements for independent practice
- Minimum 2 Years of Nurse Practitioner Experience (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
- BLS (Required)
- PALS (Required)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Training (Required)
Setting
- Inpatient Psychiatric Unit
- Ages 10 through Geriatric
- Primarily Adult Patients
- Family Medicine coverage within an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Admissions
- Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
- Medical management and evaluation of psychiatric inpatients
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Approximately 52 patients per shift
EMR
- Cerner
- No call responsibilities
- Consistent weekday schedule
- Long-term assignment with stability
- Independent practice environment
- Diverse patient population
- Opportunity to work within an integrated behavioral health setting
- Board Certified FNP-BC
- At least 2 years of NP experience
- Eligible for independent practice in Massachusetts
- Comfortable managing patients in an inpatient psychiatric environment
- Experienced with admissions and rounding responsibilities
- CPI-trained and confident working with behavioral health populations
- Long-term staffing need with anticipated coverage extending through the end of 2026
