What You’ll Do

Provide medical consults and support inpatient rounding for adult patients
Evaluate and treat common medical concerns (e.g., sore throats, rashes, and other medical issues)
Conduct medication-related assessments and medical consults as needed
Cover ED and inpatient medical coverage based on service needs
Collaborate with the care team, including nursing staff and social workers, to support patient care
Work within a structured unit environment focused on medical treatment needs (not behavioral health)

What You Need
Required

Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure (state requirements to be confirmed)
Ability to provide on-site coverage only (no telehealth)

Preferred

Relevant experience providing inpatient medical care/consults for adult patients
Comfort working in a fast-paced consult service environment with multidisciplinary support

About the Assignment
This is an on-site, adult medical consult and inpatient rounding assignment with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00–4:30 PM) at a leading facility in Natick, Massachusetts. The NP will support medical evaluation and treatment needs for inpatient patients, with team support from mid-level providers, nurses, and social workers.
