Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Location:

Ongoing. 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour shift. Employment:
Staff. Up to $20,000 sign‑on bonus (eligibility: based on program).

• Provide direct clinical patient care and assess, plan, implement direct clinical care to assigned patients per shift.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process, ensuring high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care; maintain competency of clinical staff.
• Support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care and resource management.
• Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, aiming for optimal patient discharge.
• Plan and coordinate patient care within prescribed medical regimes.
• Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles in emergencies or disasters.
• Know hospital emergency codes and adhere to hospital policies for each code.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Education:
  
  Graduated from a state‑approved school of nursing or an accredited nursing school.
• Certification:
  Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by state law and policy.
• CPR proficiency.
