Nona Biosciences is seeking a skilled and experienced scientist to join our team in Natick, MA. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in providing antibody discovery capabilities in our US lab, support internal and external therapeutics development programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with single B cell screening and molecular biology techniques.
Responsibilities- Help to plan and execute mouse in vivo studies including immunizations, titer check and efficacy testing
- Lead antibody discovery efforts utilizing single B-cell screening technology.
- Execute mammalian cell transfections, lentiviral vector production, and cell transductions.
- Design and perform flow cytometry assays for target binding, immunophenotyping, and functional evaluation of immune cells.
- Conduct ELISA and MSD analyses to assess antibody responses in immunized animals and quantify cytokine production in primary cell-based assays.
- Perform in vitro assays, including primary human immune cell isolation, culture and differentiation
- Conduct independent data analysis contributing to scientific discussion and presentations
- Collaborate with other team members to support internal and external projects
- Master or PhD's degree in biology or a similar discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with mice, especially euthanasia & tissue collection
- Some experience or knowledge of flow cytometry and ELISA is highly desired
- Excellent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent organization/planning skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Quick ability to learn scientific knowledge and experimental techniques
- Diligent, self-motivated, independent and strong sense of responsibility
- Good interpersonal skills for building relationships across functions internally and externally
