- Maintain cleanliness of work areas including dry good storage, refrigerators and freezers
- Assist in training and coaching new team members
- Handle all guest service complaints and compliments in a professional and timely manner
- Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from guests
- Take guest orders, prepare food and beverage items, distribute prepackaged and prepared food items, and deliver orders to tables as needed
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, such as product rotation, First In-First Out; dating labeling, cleaning and organizing coolers/freezers/storage areas across all food-related departments and areas
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers and facilitate fryer oil changes as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions and meet the departmental standards, including using sanitizers required by health department
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklist
- Dispenses appropriate levels of alcohol; prepares drinks to recipe and Company standards. Consistently checks guests’ identification and monitors guests’ consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with state and local liquor laws.
- Assist in the set-up and closing of the Bistro using the provided checklists
- Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation. Report deficiencies to maintenance
- Participate in all mandatory job training and meetings
- Perform any other job duties as assigned
Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
