Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Natick, MA, supporting the Store Manager in daily operations and team leadership. This role helps drive sales and customer satisfaction by modeling exceptional service, coaching team members, and ensuring brand standards are consistently met. Key responsibilities include opening and closing the store, overseeing merchandising and visual presentation, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting retail loss prevention practices.

The Assistant Store Manager participates in scheduling, training, and performance feedback to build an engaged and effective team. This role works on the sales floor, responds to customer needs, and maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding in-store experience.
  • Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, coach team members, and collaborate with store and regional leadership.
  • Store Management experience or supervisory retail experience, with the ability to support daily operations, team coordination, and execution of company standards.
  • Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including awareness of shrink risks and adherence to safety and security procedures.
  • Previous experience in fashion or specialty retail is preferred, with an understanding of merchandising and visual presentation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by store operations.
  • Proven ability to lead by example, motivate diverse teams, and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is an asset.
