Position OverviewWe are seeking a Director, Enterprise Sales to lead the field execution of Aila’s vertical go-to-market strategy. This individual will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition and revenue growth within targeted verticals, executing joint go-to-market initiatives with strategic partners, and building deep relationships with enterprise customers. The ideal candidate is a proven enterprise sales leader who thrives in a high-growth environment, understands complex solution selling, and can operate both strategically and tactically.
You will work closely with Aila’s partnership, account management, customer success, marketing, product, and solution engineering teams to bring Aila’s vertical strategy to life with partners and end-customers.
- Own and execute Aila’s vertical go-to-market strategy in the field, driving new logo acquisition and revenue growth across priority verticals
- Work closely with Apple’s enterprise sales and technical teams to executive joint vertical sales plays, build funnel and close joint wins
- Convert partner-sourced and co-developed sales plays into qualified pipeline and closed revenue, working in close coordination with Aila’s account management and customer success teams
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline within target verticals and support all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution with a focus on large and enterprise customers
- Accurately forecast revenue and maintain up-to-date pipeline reporting in CRM, contributing to vertical performance dashboards and quarterly business reviews
- Execute co‑selling motions with strategic partners including Apple, ISVs, and enterprise peripheral providers translating joint sales plays into measurable results
- Engage with partner field teams to drive alignment, pursuit strategies, and consistent execution of joint go‑to‑market plays
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and partner‑led field activations to generate pipeline and advance active opportunities
- Provide field intelligence back to the partnerships and product teams to continuously refine vertical messaging and sales plays
- Work closely with Aila’s account management team to build executive‑level relationships within end‑customer accounts, serving as a trusted advisor
- Support discovery, solution design, and proposal development in collaboration with customer success and solution engineering to address complex customer challenges
- Navigate multi‑stakeholder enterprise buying cycles, including procurement, IT, operations, and C‑suite decision‑makers
- Ensure smooth handoff to account management and customer success, setting accounts up for long‑term retention and expansion
- Partner closely with Aila’s account management, ecosystem and partners team, solution engineering, marketing, product and customer success to align field execution with product capabilities and customer needs
- Share market and customer insights to inform product roadmap priorities and vertical positioning
- Contribute to the development of sales playbooks, vertical messaging, and field enablement materials
- As a senior leader within the organization, contribute to Aila’s broader company strategy and growth initiatives
