Chimney Sweep

We're looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a Chimney Service Technician. In this hands‑on role, you'll help homeowners maintain safe, efficient fireplaces and chimneys through inspections, cleanings, and preventative maintenance.

• Perform chimney inspections, cleanings, and routine maintenance at residential properties.
• Identify potential safety concerns and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
• Educate homeowners on proper chimney and fireplace maintenance.
• Document inspection findings, completed work, and customer recommendations.
• Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles in a professional manner.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling, customer needs, and job updates.

• Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving ability.
• Comfortable working at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a daily service route.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous chimney, construction, home services, HVAC, roofing, maintenance, or trade experience is a plus, but willing to train the right individual.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience, and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
