Facility Electrical Technician
Location: Natick, MA
Pay: $28.00 - $50.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician or Facility Electrical Technician looking for a hands‑on role in a highly technical manufacturing and research environment? We are seeking a skilled professional to support facility operations, electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment installation, and infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Support manufacturing equipment, laboratory systems, facility infrastructure, and production operations
- Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, breakers, lighting, receptacles, and control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose electrical equipment failures
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Assist with commissioning new equipment and facility improvement projects
- Support HVAC, compressed air, building systems, and other facility maintenance activities
- Coordinate with contractors during upgrades, renovations, and construction projects
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent industrial/commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience with motor controls, electrical panels, power distribution systems, and industrial equipment
- Ability to safely troubleshoot electrical and control systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, research, aerospace, semiconductor, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, or building controls
- HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, or facility maintenance experience
- Forklift, lift equipment, or OSHA safety certifications
