Brandon Residential Treatment Center is seeking caring, dependable Residential Counselors to support boys and young men in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment. You’ll play a key role in daily routines, emotional support, and life skill development.
Position Responsibilities- Build positive, supportive relationships with youth using a strength-based approach.
- Supervise and engage residents in daily routines, life skills, and recreational activities.
- Support meal prep, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a safe, home-like setting.
- Facilitate social and life skills groups.
- Administer medications (MAP certification required, training provided).
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum one year experience working in human services or the mental health field preferred.
- Must have a valid CORI/DCF background check.
- Able to participate in physical interventions.
- MAP certified a plus.
Overnight Shift Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday
SalaryStarting at $18.00 per hour. With MAP Certification: $21.00 per hour.
