We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to support our Service and Parts departments. This position plays an important role in creating a positive final impression for our customers by accurately processing payments, assisting with customer questions, answering and directing phone calls, and providing administrative support to the dealership team.
The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, accuracy, and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience are essential.
This position requires a flexible schedule and may include evening hours and at least two Saturdays per month.

Some of what you will do Provide a professional, welcoming, and helpful experience for every customer.
Process customer payments for Service and Parts transactions, including cash, checks, and credit cards.
Accurately calculate customer balances, provide change, and issue receipts.
Record payments accurately on repair orders, parts counter tickets, and dealership systems.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department or team member.
Assist with scheduling and confirming service appointments as needed.
Support appointment reminders and other customer follow-up activities.
Process applicable customer rewards and dealership programs.
Assist with rental vehicle transactions and related documentation.
File and organize service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and other dealership records.
Respond professionally to customer questions or concerns and involve the appropriate team member when additional assistance is needed.
Maintain an organized and professional cashier and customer reception area.
Partner with Service, Parts, and other dealership departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Perform additional administrative and departmental duties as assigned.
What we are looking forHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service, cashier, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred. Automotive experience a plus.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal communication and professional phone skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to process transactions accurately.
Good organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
Professional work ethic, dependability, and high integrity.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications Previous automotive dealership experience.
Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds or similar dealership management systems.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
