Preschool Teacher; -room

Adventure Point Early Learning Center is a Christian, play-based early learning center in National City, CA, dedicated to nurturing children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our brand-new facility in San Diego's South Bay is built around the belief that every child is made to explore and grow. We're looking for a warm, mission-driven educator to join our team — with an immediate opening in our 3-year-old classroom and the flexibility to support any age group from infant through PreK.

• Lead daily instruction in the 3-year-old classroom using a Christian, play-based curriculum
  
  Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that build early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional skills
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  
  Assist with daily routines including meals, hygiene, and transitions
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff across age groups (infants through preschool)
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom

• Minimum 12 units of Early Childhood Education (ECE) required — official transcripts will be requested
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred; ability and willingness to work with any age group from infant (6 weeks) through 5 years required
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and reflects the diverse community we serve
• Familiarity with Bright Wheel student management portal is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification required within the last two years, or must obtain within 30 days of hire
• Alignment with Adventure Point's Christian values and mission
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active throughout an 8-hour shift
• English proficiency is required, as clear communication with children, families, and staff is essential to the role
• All candidates must successfully complete California's required 3-phase background clearance prior to employment, including DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) checks, as required by the Community Care Licensing Division
