Focus Interpreting is seeking an experienced Spanish Simultaneous Interpreter to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will provide real-time interpretation services during a variety of events and meetings, ensuring clear and effective communication between Spanish-speaking participants and English speakers.

• Deliver simultaneous interpretation services for conferences, meetings, and events involving Spanish and English speakers
• Utilize simultaneous interpretation equipment and technology to ensure seamless communication
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold a high level of professionalism throughout all interpretation sessions
• Prepare in advance by researching industry-specific terminology and familiarizing yourself with the context and specifics of each assignment
• Commit to continuous professional development in language skills and interpretation techniques

• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages
• Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation, with a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and protocols involved
• Awareness of cultural differences and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups
• Exceptional listening and analytical skills to ensure accurate interpretation
• Prior experience in professional interpreting settings is preferred
