Job Purpose

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Execution & Financial Management
  • Drive Mid Corporate Strategy:
    Lead the implementation of the Mid Corporate strategy through tactical planning and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Budget Oversight:
    Manage the region’s budget with diligent expense control aligned to strategic business requirements.
  • Market Growth:
    Expand Nedbank’s market share and revenue (NIR/NII) by unlocking strategic opportunities and driving acquisitions, cross‑selling, and upselling.
Operational Excellence & Risk
  • Project Delivery:
    Ensure the on‑time launch and implementation of all functional projects, processes, and systems.
  • Risk & Compliance:
    Maintain a sustainable business by ensuring strict adherence to credit, operational, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Process Optimisation:
    Enhance productivity through effective resource allocation, workflow management, and quality decision‑making.
Client Experience & Brand Reputation
  • Service Excellence:
    Deliver industry leading client service that showcases the differentiated customer experience provided to Nedbank Mid‑Corporate customers.
  • Brand Ambassadorship:
    Promote Nedbank’s market presence by role‑modeling the brand essence and fulfilling the brand promise.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Build and leverage strategic relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure an integrated service delivery.
Leadership & People Development
  • High‑Performance Culture:
    Foster a sales and service culture built on accountability, trust, and Nedbank values.

    Support direct reports in developing robust sales plans through resource planning and professional mentorship.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
