Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site Behavioral Therapist role based in Naugatuck, CT for in-home therapy services. The Behavioral Therapist will work closely with clients, primarily children, to assess and address behavioral challenges and implement interventions rooted in evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include applying behavior analysis principles, creating and implementing personalized intervention plans, collaborating with team members and families, and documenting progress to ensure the success of therapeutic goals.
Hours range from 10-20 with a possibility of growing into a full-time position.
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Behavior Analysis techniques
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients, families, and team members
- Background and knowledge in Psychology, with an understanding of behavioral theories and practices
- Experience Working With Children in therapeutic or educational settings
- Ability to tailor approaches to individual needs and maintain a nurturing and patient demeanor
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certification in behavior analysis or therapy is an advantage
