Position: GTWA Welder I

Job Description

Join Our Team as a GTAW Welder I at AMETEK LMS!

Responsibilities
  • Follows instructions contained in the work order and examines final product to confirm completion according to specification
  • Set‑up and complete jobs in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and process sheets welding components using Auto‑Tig and Hand‑Tig
  • Check welds visually and dimensionally with measuring instruments for conformance to blueprints and specifications
  • Organizes work and storage area for efficient workflow
  • Performs cross sectioning and etching of weld samples
  • Cross‑train for testing and mechanical assembly tasks
Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • 1‑year previous TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program
Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Salary Maximum: $55,000
