Responsibilities include servicing residential and commercial properties for pests and wildlife including all specialty services (bed bugs, termites, rodent exclusions, rodent/wildlife clean-outs, wildlife evictions & exclusions) and other administrative activities for the Company. The Wildlife/Specialty Technician is responsible for inspecting and assessing for pest, implementing a safe and effective solution, documenting the service and communicating with the customer.
A valid driver's license and high school diploma required.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Controlling pests on-site in a variety of accounts
- Physically inspecting a variety of residential and commercial structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage
- Interfacing directly with homeowners, home buyers, and their agents regarding the work to be accomplished
- Documenting the type, degree, and location of infestations
- Documenting and conditions or recommendations
- Performing creative sales tactics and providing estimates
- Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel
- Determining the costs, estimating the crew time, and scheduling work
- Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during business activities
- Completing all work orders daily
- Submitting all collections at least weekly
- Maintain company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times
- Ensures company procedures, state / federal laws are followed to ensure the safety of themselves, our customers and the public
- Maintain inventory and submit material restock orders for specialty services
- Evaluate problem accounts and determine resolutions
- Performing other duties as assigned
