Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support Stores and Store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• Vocational or technical certification and 5 years’ experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years’ experience in one of these trades.
• 1 year’s experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Can lift up to 75 lbs.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

• The hourly wage range is $21.00 - $40.00. Additional premiums may apply per schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
• Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other factors. Additional bonuses will be disclosed during interview.
