TempUS Trades is seeking a skilled R-8 Licensed Conveyor Installer to perform mechanical installation of conveyor systems on industrial projects throughout Connecticut. This role will focus on the assembly, alignment, and installation of bolt-up conveyor systems, ensuring that equipment is installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with drawings and project specifications.

This is a hands-on position ideal for installers with strong mechanical system experience and a valid Connecticut R-8 Limited Conveyor Journeyperson License.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical installation of new bolt-up conveyor systems in industrial facilities
• Review and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and specifications to ensure work is performed accurately
• Align, fit, and secure conveyor components, frames, supports, and accessories
• Verify conveyor installation meets design requirements and quality standards
• Work safely and efficiently as part of an installation crew
• Coordinate with project supervision and other trades as needed
• Identify and communicate any installation challenges or discrepancies promptly
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Connecticut R-8 License RequirementA Connecticut R-8 Limited Conveyor Journeyperson License is required for this position. The R-8 license permits the holder to perform work limited to the installation, maintenance, alteration, or repair of conveyor equipment and machines used to convey materials, provided the work is performed in the employ of a contractor licensed for such work. This license does not authorize work on freight elevators.

Applicants must demonstrate possession of the R-8 license in good standing and be legally authorized to work in the state of Connecticut.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Connecticut R-8 Limited Conveyor Journeyperson License
• Proven experience performing conveyor installation work in industrial or material handling environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
