Warehouse Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Pennsylvania Steel has been in business since 1972 and has multiple locations on the east coast becoming one of the largest Steel Service Centers in the eastern United States.

Location: Naugatuck, CT

Employment: Full Time / Permanent Opportunity

As 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor, the role is responsible for performing and supervising material handlers in metals processing and distribution work, including specialized equipment operation and supporting functions in loading trucks.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am schedule.

• Provides direct supervision and guidance to 3rd shift team. Provides disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation. Assure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist with loading of trucks for material delivery.
• Assure work order related documents are completed correctly and on time.
• Exercise sound judgment and leadership for quality decisions.
• Utilize effective judgment in notification of serious matters related to safety, personnel or operational emergencies.

• Ability to read, interpret and evaluate procedures and specifications.
• Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic. Self‑Motivated & Dependable.
• Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

• 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.
• Forklift operations desirable & working in a warehouse environment.

Salary: $49,000 - $52,000 per year based on experience
