The Janitor will maintain cleanliness and order in school district facilities, performing heavy cleaning duties, such as floor cleaning, washing walls and windows, and trash disposal. The role supports a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Navasota ISD – 11937 Highway 105 East, Navasota, TX 77868. Openings at additional district locations are available.

Full‑time: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (days may vary)
Part‑time: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm (days may vary)

• Prior experience cleaning and maintaining facilities within the Navasota ISD district.

$11.00 – $11.50 per hour.

• Same‑day pay.

• Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors.
• Move, clean, and reposition furniture and equipment as needed.
• Sanitize surfaces and use assigned materials and equipment.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Seek areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Shampoo and buff floors.
• Demonstrate professional conduct with customers and coworkers.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
