Machine Operator

Summary:

Operator will be required to learn all aspects of the tasks that are completed within Heavy Weight Final. Department processes include coating finished product, Make and Break - where joints are assembled and then torqued a part using a controlled machine, and Phosphate spray coating on the connections to help prevent contamination/damage.

Job duties:

* Perform finishing operations on completed product prior to shipment

* Apply coatings to finished product according to company and customer specifications

* Use controlled machinery and torque equipment to assemble and disassemble joints - Make and Break

* Perform phosphate application process to help prevent contamination and maintain product integrity

* Use measurement tools to ensure product is aligned with work order.

* Maintain the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition

* Follow all safety procedures, operational standards and quality requirement

* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and operational concerns

* Cross-train and perform multiple departmental functions as required.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals required

* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

* Ability to work overtime and shift work as required

* Standing up to 12 hours daily

* Walking up to 12 hours daily

* Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily

* Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily

* Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly

* Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily

* Work in all outdoor weather/environment conditions
