Working on behalf of Vale of Glamorgan Council, we are currently seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker with a strong background in Section 47 enquiries and a passion for supporting children and families in complex circumstances.

Working in our Intake Team, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding children, completing high‑quality assessments, and making timely, informed decisions that truly make a difference. This is a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, where the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines will be essential.

You will have a dedicated focus on Section 47 assessments, giving you the opportunity to work at the forefront of child protection practice. • Strong experience in Section 47 enquiries
• Confidence in applying legislation and guidance in child protection practice

• 3 years' references/work history
• Social Care Wales Registration
