Salary £15,392 per annum in line with the National Minimum Wage for Year 1 of the Apprenticeship, increasing in Year 2 in line with the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage rates, dependent on age.
Contractual hours 37 hours per week, full time apprenticeship.

We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Plumbing Foundation Apprentice to work on public buildings throughout the local authority, including civic, leisure and educational premises, supporting renovation projects across Neath and Port Talbot.
Responsibilities- Build the necessary skills to become an effective trade operative on completion of the apprenticeship.
- Carry out work to the required specification.
- Adhere to Quality Assurance requirements.
- Strictly comply with Health and Safety at Work Regulations and Council policies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instruction and advice from colleagues.
- Capability to undertake site‑based activities, including those in challenging conditions.
- Awareness of administrative procedures and ability to complete required paperwork on time.
- Any personal achievements or interests, e.g. Duke of Edinburgh Award, club memberships, sports, St Jon’s Ambulance, etc.
- Minimum 2 GCSEs (grade C or above) in Maths and English/Welsh or equivalent qualifications.
