Installation Engineer

Overview

Do you have experience in the installation of systems such as fire, smoke, security, and telecoms? Are you happy to work away from home? This permanent role involves attending customer sites across the UK (some European travel may be required in the future) to install, commission, maintain and repair equipment for a well established company.

• Attend customer sites to install and commission products across varying locations, from construction sites to high-rise buildings, hospitals and prisons.
• Perform maintenance and repair activities as required.
• Programme equipment from a PC; training will be provided.
• Write reports on work completed and maintain documentation.
• Work away from home as needed; all accommodation and travel are provided.
• Utilise supplied tools, ladders, laptop, phone and vehicle as part of the role.

• An electrically biased qualification is very beneficial.
• Willingness to travel across the UK (and potentially Europe).
• Ability to use a PC and learn programming of equipment.

• All accommodation and travel will be paid for.
• Tools, ladders, a laptop, phone and a vehicle are provided.
• Bonus paid every six months and a meal allowance for nights away. Potential annual bonus: £3k–£4k.
