Materials Management Analyst II

As a Materials Management Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing the supply chain and materials management processes to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will analyze data, manage inventory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and improve overall supply chain performance.

In this role, you will impact the accuracy and efficiency of materials planning and inventory control, helping to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and improving operational workflows.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and optimize interplant stock transfers to ensure material availability and support uninterrupted operations.
  • Own and drive the Clear-to-Build process for backlog, proactively identifying and resolving constraints to improve order fulfillment and production readiness.
  • Coordinate and execute production schedule releases for finished product and repetitive manufacturing lines, aligning supply, demand, and operational priorities to achieve delivery, inventory, and customer service objectives.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resolve supply chain issues.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as People Soft or SAP for master data management and reporting.
  • Experience in supply chain or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing knowledge to understanding shop floor workflows, lead times, and equipment limitations to build realistic timelines.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with supply chain metrics and continuous improvement methodologies.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in materials management or supply chain roles.
  • Knowledge of MRP/MPS systems and experience with SIOP processes.
  • Project management skills and experience driving process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence outcomes.
