Assistant Accounting Manager

Hamilton Telecommunications is seeking a full-time Assistant Accounting Manager for the corporate office in Aurora, NE. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who wants to expand technical skills, gain broad hands‑on experience, and grow into greater responsibility. This position will support billing, reconciliations, compliance, and month‑end processes while working closely with leadership in a collaborative environment.

• Support monthly billing processes across multiple service lines and ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile billing systems, bank activity, and general ledger accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Review revenue, taxes, and related transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable, cash application, and vendor/customer inquiry resolution.
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end close activities and related reporting.
• Prepare and support compliance filings, including tax and 1099 reporting.
• Help improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and process efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
