Manufacturing Plant Accountant

Large manufacturing company is looking for a Financial Analyst/ Plant Accountant for a facility is central NE.

This is an on-site position (no remote or hybrid option is available)

As a member of the corporate controllership team, the Financial Analyst will support key centralized corporate accounting functions and compliance activities.

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers utilizing our ERP system.
• Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
• Develop timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis for plant
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for corporate and each of the US-based facilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar field
• 5 years of experience in accounting field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or accounting firm.
• Experience in a large accounting firm preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems a must – experience with Plex is preferred.
