Department:
The Kinesiology department within the Division of Academic Affairs is dedicated to advancing the understanding and practice of human movement across the lifespan within the context of an evolving society. Through innovative teaching, research, and community engagement, the department prepares students to become leaders in the field. The department is committed to producing well‑rounded professionals who contribute meaningfully to their communities and the advancement of human movement.

Salary Range: $4,047 - $4,295 per month

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours.

Essential Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. Training at a vocational school or full‑time college education may substitute for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis. Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies and procedures. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling. Proficiency in office systems with the ability to use a range of technology, systems and software packages.

Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects. Ability to apply a variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to perform standard business math, including calculating ratios and percentages, tracking financial data and making simple projections. Ability to draft and compose correspondence and standard reports. Ability to handle effectively a broad range of interpersonal contacts, including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university. Training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe and Dropbox.

Experience with OBIEE, 25

Live and CMS scheduling and financial reporting systems.
